Why we should respect Hinduism?

* It is not religion, it is culture and way of life.
* It is related to Sindh civilization (Indus Valley Civilization). Hindu is the Persian name for the Indus River, first encountered in the Old Persian word Hindu, corresponding to Vedic Sanskrit Sindhu, the Indus River. In Persian the letter H and S are pronounced almost the same so they mistook the word Sindhu (Sanskrit name for Indus) to H and then started calling Hindus and Hinduism. The term Hinduism was introduced by the English People to denote the religious, philosophical, and cultural traditions native to India. Indus Valley Civilization is oldest culture in world.
* In Hindi language Religion means Dharm but in Hinduism Dharm is defined as humanity and morality, it can not be divided as Christianity, Islam or Budhiusm.
* Hinduism is sometime called Sanatan Dharm means Eternal Law.
* All religions are the result of the works of thousands of thinkers. Hinduism and Judaism are cultures and they are the mothers of all religions. New religions like Christianity and Islam took the best aspects of Judaism and made part of them. So too Buddhism and Jainism took the best aspects of Hinduism and made part of them.
* Forbes Magazine, (July, 1987) wrote: "Sanskrit is the mother of all the European languages and is the most suitable language for the computer software."
* Hindus believe in One and Only God – Brahman which expresses itself in trillions of forms. Hindus do not believe God has human form or any other form. God is nameless and timeless. But there is nothing wrong to worship a God with name and form (nama-roopa), since man cannot conceive anything without any name and form. In fact, in the Shruti scriptures of Hinduism, God or Brahman has been described as Saguna Brahman (God-Brahman with attributes) as well as Nirguna Brahman (God-without attributes. In the Upanishads, God is described as Neti–Neti (not this-not that) method. So first Hindus worshiped 33 natural gods in the Rig Veda. Then Hinduism came to the realization that there is one and only God - Brahman.
* In Hinduism Woman is called Shakti (Power). They worship Goddess as Mata (Mother). The Man is called Shiv ( Originator) and Woman is Shakti (Power). Both man and woman are complement of each other.
* Ayurveda – The Hindu Medicine Scripture – consists of more than 100,000 verses initially. Still it is considered as a upa Veda of Atharva Veda.
* In Rig Ved the holy book of hinduism says that God is Only one , It is almighty, immanent and immortal but there can worshiped in many name and many ways.
* Namste is the popular Hindu greeting performed by pressing two hands together and holding them near the heart. The whole act communicate to the world 'You and I are one. I salute and worship the God within you, which is a mirror image of myself"

Why Hinduism differ from other religion?

Before explaining it I want share my experience. One day I was seeing videos on website www.youtube.com, then I have saw that there are many video about people who has changed their religion. If you search the topic as "Islam converts to Christianity" or "Christianity converts to Islam" then you will see many video about hundreds on this topic, in which people are talking about the differences and faults of religion of each other. They are telling that why they change religion? what was faults of their religion? what do inspire to change religion? what is good thing in their new religion? etc.But if you search topic on "Islam/Christian converts in Hindu" then you will find no any video. It does not mean that Hinduism does not inspire any person because there are many example that foreign people come to India, they get inspired and stay here forever without change their name and religion.you will see a video that an Australian hindu woman has change her religion into Islam. Here is video -

In this video they show that Hindus are foolish, they worship animals and sexual organ.

I am Hindu. I proud to be Hindu. Do you know that Hinduism originated from Sindh civilization (Indus Valley civilization) which is oldest civilization of the world. Many civilization came and gone but Sindh civilization stay alive in form of Hinduism. It has increadible philosophy, science, literature, sociology, psychology etc.It has nature of changing with time period. It has no founder. It has no any special holy book as Bible and Quran, it has many books & literature that define the Hinduism and its traditions. Hindu religion is not organised. It is originated when human beings developed as civilised man. Nowadays people laugh at Hinduism and make a fun on their activities. Now I will explain why Hinduism differ from other religion.

Have you seen tribes? If you don't know then see this video.

Can you make understand about happy and civilised life? Why these people are difference from us?Why they spend dirty life?Have you any answer?

No,you have no answer.

You can't make understand to them because they do not understand us.They do not know about science and technology. There are many difficulties to introduce about science and world, same difficulties came to our ancestors. They were very intelligent but they could not have make understand to barbarian people, then they made understood people in different ways. For example they knew that sunlight has made by sevens lightbeam of different wavelength, but how did they made understand it to illiterate person then they said that god sun has seven horses. If you will see hinduism in this way then you will realize that why hindus are so religious and why they have great faith for their religion while hindus are so intelligent.
